Use of Cookies

What is a Cookie?

A cookie is a file that stores the settings of websites. It is downloaded via the browser when you first visit a website, and the next time you return to that website via the same computer, tablet or smartphone, the browser can check if the cookie with the web address was saved.

The browser uses the data from a cookie and sends them back to the website. This allows websites to recognise if a user has already visited that website, and in advanced applications, individual settings can be customised, accordingly.

Advantages of Cookies

When using the same computer (tablet or smartphone) and browser, cookies are very useful; for example, they can remember your settings, help us monitor how you use our websites, and make the displayed content more relevant to your needs and browsing mode.

Important!

No cookie that we use on these websites collects your personal information that would enable your identification.

Managing and Deleting Cookies

If you want to change the way you use cookies in your browser, including blocking or deleting them, you can do this by changing your browser settings, accordingly.

To manage cookies, most browsers allow you to accept or reject all cookies, accept only a specific type of cookies, or warn you that the page wants to store a cookie.

You can easily delete the cookies your browser has stored.

The procedure for managing and deleting cookies varies from browser to browser. If you need help, you can look at the browser's user help.
